Grantees are to be selected on an objective and nondiscriminatory basis. Generally all grantees shall be individuals who satisfy the criteria for the award of grants. However, the Foundation reserves the right to impose additional minor restrictions or requirements.
The applicant must meet the following criteria:
A. To qualify, you must have completed a minimum of one semester in your current course of study.
B. Official Transcripts and a Letter of Recommendation from one of your Professors on college letterhead must accompany the Application.
C. The applicant shows sufficient academic ability (demonstrated by prior academic performance) to enable them to complete the courses of study necessary to graduate from the educational institution selected by them.
D. The applicant has such character and motivation to work hard to complete their education.
Determinations with respect to academic ability and character will be based upon such facts deemed important by the Board and may include transcripts and recommendation from applicant’s advisor, professor or counselor.
Number and Size of Grants:
Grants will generally range from $500 to $3,000. Scholarships will be awarded and can be renewed by semester provided that academic ability is maintained and progressing satisfactorily towards completion of degree.
